My 28th Birthday

My husband made me have all 28 candles on the cake! I confess..... it was kind of fun! The kids all helped me blow them out! Mason even started helping before we were done singing the happy birthday song! Jeremy putting all the Candles in the cake!

The best cakes ever!

I had to get a blood test done on my birthday! I was excited to because it will make it one step closer to getting my wireless insulin pump that I'm super excited for!!! While I was at the lab the receptionist ask me for my birth date I started to reply with 4-29 and she interrupted me "not today's date, your birth date" I laughed and told her its my birthday!

Las Vegas Zoo

The kids got there faces painted for free!! Mason got to feed a goats and pet them (the girls were too scared) it was fun but.... WORD OF ADVICE: NOT WORTH THE MONEY..... it cost the same as Utah's Hogle Zoo but is way smaller. Its only 3 acers big with no big animals like the giraffes, elephants, or Zebras! Not to metion its in a bad part of town!

So I have a funny story about this trip to the Zoo......

I'm a normal type 1 diabetic who has good and bad days trying to keep my blood sugars in normal range! This day I happened to have an extreme low while visiting the Zoo! we were told that there was free cake and face painting, feeling sick I stumbled into a the pavilion where I saw cake and began to help my self happy to see pizza and drinks there too! My husband Jeremy seemed to be upset and I just ignored him and kept eating away! The girls we helping the self to gift backs that were placed around the tables... treats, toys, pizza, and cake, couldn't get much better right? Until my husband says to me loud and clear "Heidi do you see the birthday presents in the corner, this is someones birthday party, Its not for us!!" We just crashed some poor kids birthday party while they were out having fun in Zoo!!!

Completely embarrassed!!! We booked it out of there!

Easter weekend '10

Our Easter turned out to be so much fun! We had lots for people visit: My sister Tammy, my mother in law Teresa & daughter Salean, and Jeremy's two cousins Jen & Brian. We went to the strip on sat. after conference,we saw the water show and ate at the cheese cake factory which was amazing food! The cheese cake was the best I have ever tasted by far!

The kids had so much fun and Easter was a blast! Each child got a church outfit and new church shoes! I was glad to get a new wedding ring although I miss my old one that's missing! Jeremy got some new shirts that he was in need of badly! Easter was a lot of fun and we want to thank everyone that made it so special for us!
